Bill Evans "Live at Art D'Lugoff's Top of the Gate" back by popular demand

Available Friday, November 29th, Bill Evans Live at Art D'Lugoff's Top of the Gate is back by popular demand. A new two LP gatefold edition, cut at 33 1/3 RPM will be released to include two complete sets of Bill Evans from 1968 captured live in New York City. This deluxe, limited-edition, 180gm hand-numbered set was pressed By Bernie Grundman at Grundman Mastering and pressed by RTI. The official release is in partnership with the Bill Evans and Art D'Lugoff estates.

The first pressing was cut at 33 1/3 RPM and is limited to 4,000 copies worldwide. The original 2012 pressing was at 45 RPM and has been out of print for many years. The presentation features longtime Evans bassist Eddie Gomez and drummer Marty Morell and was digitally remastered from the original tape reels recorded by George Klabin. Each set includes a four-page insert with rare photos by Raymond Ross, Tom Copi and Jan Persson; essays by iconic jazz critic Nat Hentoff and vibes legend Gary Burton; plus interviews with Eddie Gomez and Marty Morell.
